This week’s guest: Jeff Barsky, the man behind the droning soundscapes of Insect Factory.  He joined us in our sub-aquatic studio at the bottom of the Potomac to play cuts from his newest album Melodies from a Dead Radio as well as tracks from his work with the unpredictable Arlington noise-rock band The Plums and a few cuts from his personal music library.  Along the way he talks about the motivations behind his record label Insect Fields and what happens when you try to record loud music without a real practice space.
